Feeding the Starving Artist from Within
How I work
My work focuses on the integration of mind and body through a collaborative journey of somatic and Jungian-inspired art therapies. I believe in loving ourselves in our darkest spaces; embracing the strength of our shadows; and redirecting that negative energy toward a resilient, empowered Self. I support my clients in exploring their relationship with their behavior. Through compassionate guidance, they are able to view and better understand their unconscious intentions. Creating the space for change and a more conscious, intentional, and nourishing life.

Training & Experience
My training bridges the multifaceted relationships of movement, therapy, performance and psychology. For over five years, I have worked clinically within intensive and outpatient eating disorder treatment programs as a behavioral health counselor and facilitated groups such as dance/movement exploration,
somatic healing and awareness, gardening and nurturing the body, meditation through active imagination and meal groups.
I have performed professionally in theater and dance companies and teach dance technique, choreography, and performance to students of all experiences and ages for over a decade. As a dance studio artistic director, I have designed curriculum and performance productions. Through this work, I have developed my own restorative movement vocabulary to foster growth and healing for my clients.
“Natalie is incredible! She’s really helped me make deeper connections between my eating disorder and other aspects of my life. I feel like when I leave sessions with her, I am instantly more relaxed and less anxious. I feel like I am making positive strides toward being the person I want to be, and Natalie has been invaluable in that process. Even just in the few weeks I’ve been seeing Natalie, I’ve noticed my symptoms becoming more manageable. She’s the best!” – anonymous client testimonial
“Natalie was great and I feel like after having counseling with her, I was able to process everything that I needed to address. Feeling much better now. Lost all the weight that I had initially gained from overeating and am now focusing on health and feeling good. Feel so grateful for my time with her! 100% awesome.” – anonymous client testimonial
